How can I sample your cakes?
We offer cake sampling consultations in our specialist studio kitchen, where we can discuss your wedding plans and schemes over a delicious selection of cakes. There is a £15 booking fee for this service, which is deductible from a placed order. Appointments usually last 60-90 minutes.
Alternatively you can order one of our postal cake sampling boxes for £18.50, which is deductible from your wedding or celebration cake order.

Do you take card payment?
Yes, we accept card payment, cash, and for wedding cakes bank transfers.

Do you require a deposit?

For biscuits and cupcakes we take full payment at the point of order. For wedding and celebration cakes, we take 25% at the point of booking, and the final balance is due four weeks prior to the event

Do you deliver?
All orders need to be collected from The Norfolk Cake House, in North Walsham, with the exception of wedding cakes.
Celebration cakes can be delivered for a small fee on special request, or if deemed complicated in design. Wedding cake delivery costs will be incorporated into your quote.

How does wedding cake setup work?
On the day of the wedding we will personally deliver your cake to the venue. We will liaise with the venue directly to sort out all the arrangements. Then we will spend one to two hours assembling and hand finishing your cake onsite.

Can you make vegan and 'free from' cakes?

We can make cakes which are free from certain intolerance ingredients, however please note that all our cakes are made in our professional kitchen where gluten, dairy, nuts, lactose and soya are present.

Can you arrange cake toppers?
Yes, we can arrange customised cake toppers for you, however we do ask for 3 weeks notice.

Do you make wedding favours?

Yes we do, have a look at our cupcakes and biscuits section for more ideas. We can also make cake pops.

What will my cake sit on?
All of our cakes come displayed on The Norfolk Cake House cake stands or wooden boards. We ask kindly, that these are returned to us within seven days.

Do you use dummy cakes?
Yes we offer a dummy cake service, so if you desire the look of a very big cake for your wedding and either have small numbers attending or need to keep costs down, we can use dummy cakes to help create the look you desire.

How does your cake pricing work?
As you can imagine, the pricing of any cake is highly dependant on the required size of cake, and the complexity and volume of decorative work required. Click here to see the Norfolk Cake House pricing guide.
